MA Psychologist (0.75 FTE position)

Job Description

Summary

This is a 30-hour per week clinical position in the Michigan Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Psychology at Mott Children?s Hospital. The appointment involves participation within a multidisciplinary team with clinical responsibilities to provide direct billable clinical work and care coordination in evaluating and treatment disorders of incontinence in children and adolescents.

Responsibilities*

?         Conduct initial assessments of behavioral factors contributing to elimination disorders in pediatric patients.

?         Provide ongoing, evidence-based treatment targeting behaviors that interfere with progression towards continence.

?         Provide psychoeducation and engage patients and families into treatment.

?         Work within a multidisciplinary team and facilitate case coordination and communication to improve patient care.

?         Assist in planning and delivery of education and outreach activities.

?         Help develop and maintain clinical resources for patients, families and clinicians.

Required Qualifications*

?         Master's degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and a State of Michigan Limited License as a Psychologist.

?         Applicants should have advanced training in evidence-based behavioral treatments for children and adolescents.

?         Experience and skills in case management and care coordination

?         Experience working within multidisciplinary teams

Desired Qualifications*

?         Background in principles of Applied Behavior Analysis

?         Experience in providing parent management training to families

?         Experience working with children and adolescents with disorders of incontinence
