Technical Associate I, Gabrieli Lab

Job Description

TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, McGovern Institute for Brain Research-Gabrieli Lab, to be responsible for the coordination and implementation of research studies involving both children and adult participants, including neurodiverse individuals with diagnoses of depression, autism, and/or ADHD. Will be involved in participant outreach and scheduling, administration of standardized behavioral assessments, operation of MRI scanner (training will be provided), maintenance and development of analysis software, and technical support for lab personnel.  

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED:  bachelor's degree in a scientific or social science/education field, e.g., social science, neuroscience, psychology/education, or related field; two years’ specialized research experience (may include experience gained as an undergraduate); excellent organizational and written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; and good judgment with confidential/sensitive information about participants.  Job #24376

Must have regular availability on Saturdays and Sundays (between 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.) and some afternoons/evenings (between 3:00 and 7:00 P.M.) when children/adolescents/families are available for testing outside of school hours.

A commitment of at least one year is requested.
