This position provides administrative support to the Director of Budget & Accounting, Facilities Services. The daily duties include serving as the area receptionist for central operations, drafting and typing memorandums, creating spreadsheets, maintaining calendars and schedules, scheduling meetings, and maintaining critical records for the office. They are also the communication representative for Budget & Accounting.
Utilize current technology to track, copy, print, file, and analyze data in Budget & Accounting. This includes the use of current software and learning new programs to be more efficient in performing responsibilities. These task may include setting meetings and appointments in google, using specialized filing systems, creating and manipulating tracking sheets, pulling data and analyzing data from diverse resources, creating shared documents for collaboration, and serving as resource for special software functions.

Associate’s degree or two year college equivalent preferred.
Department Required Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite; ability to learn new software programs.
Must have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Organizational skills are a necessity.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communications including proper telephone and email etiquette.
Good interpersonal skills needed in working with staff/vendors/faculty

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Two to three years administrative/clerical experience in an office environment strongly preferred.
Associate’s degree or two year college equivalent preferred.
