COLLEGE OF BUSINESS: The College of Business programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). The College currently offers undergraduate degrees in Accounting, General Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, a graduate MBA, and a new Certificate in LNG Business. The College of Business provides student-centric undergraduate and master’s programs that produce graduates with the skills and experience to compete responsibly, professionally, and successfully in our region and beyond. McNeese State University serves as the academic and cultural center for Southwest Louisiana. Our latest growth is in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas), as approximately 50% of the nation’s LNG passes through our region. Lake Charles is conveniently located with two hours of driving west to Houston, TX and three hours east to New Orleans, LA.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position. The appointment begins in January 2025.

The College of Business offers undergraduate degrees in Accounting, General Business Administration, Finance, Management, and Marketing, an MBA, and a new Certificate in Liquefied Natural Gas Business.

Required/Preferred Qualifications

The candidate must hold a PhD/DBA in Marketing from an AACSB-accredited institution (ABD candidates who have defended a dissertation proposal are also encouraged apply). The teaching requirements for the position include a mix of Marketing Principles, Sales Management, Social Media Marketing, and Marketing Research. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellence in teaching (both face-to-face and online), a commitment to intellectual contributions with publications in quality journals, and a desire to provide service to the College, the University, and the profession.
