Job Summary
To evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic complaints to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician. The ideal candidate would have 2-4 years or more of outpatient orthopedic experience with a strong interest in teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities*
This position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with spine, and general orthopedic complaints to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical modalities and exercise as prescribed by a physician.
Required Qualifications*
Graduate Non-Certified Patient Care Technician (Underfill) Qualifications:
Desired Qualifications*
General orthopedic outpatient experience or Orthopedic Residency program completion is preferred.
Licensure & Certification
Possession of a current state license to practice physical therapy in Michigan is necessary.
Work Schedule
This position is 40 hours a week with a requirement to be part of our closing team. Our clinic is open 7 AM to 7 PM M-Th and 7AM to 5PM F, currently no weekend clinic hours. There is an option for 8- or 10-hour days which will determine start times. Final determination of schedule will be made during the interview process.

This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
