Position Overview
- Rider University invites applications for the Director, Student Financial Accounts who will direct the overall operation of the Bursar's office.Specifically, the individual will be responsible for:
- providing direct supervision of accounts receivable staff including training;
- Banner Student Billing System and report generation;
- serving as the primary point of contact for technical Banner issues;
- collection and resolution of current accounts;
- serving as the primary point person for the annual A133 audit related to student accounts receivable;
- documenting and developing office procedure manual as it relates to Banner; and
- ensuring customer satisfaction.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated ability to maintain/update rate changes and billing rules in system billing tables and set up refund tables.
- Demonstrated customer service skills in a student-centered environment.
- Demonstrated time management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in systems - Word and Excel.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in collection.
- Knowledge of Banner is a plus.
