Job Summary

The University of Michigan Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology (C.S. Mott Children's Hospital) is seeking a pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in general gastroenterology to join our team.  The job will focus on providing clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Knowledge of the care for esophageal disorders or inflammatory bowel disease is desirable. There are also opportunities for the development of scholarly activities (research) and for leadership. Job duties will include the inpatient GI service, inpatient consultations and out-patient care, endoscopic procedures, supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, scholarly activity, and administrative duties. Rank of selected candidates is dependent upon qualifications.

Required Qualifications*

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO degree, be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Gastroenterology, and will hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the State of Michigan. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills. Evidence of clinical competence and competence in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.
