Job Summary
This Manager position will participate and lead in the direction, supervision, and provision of daily pharmacy operations in the Central Pharmacy in University Hospital over order verification, medication preparation and distribution across morning, afternoon, and midnights shifts. They will work in collaboration with other pharmacy leadership in the Central Pharmacy area.
Ensures that all services are performed in accordance with hospital, departmental, and governmental policies, procedures, and regulations. Ensures all related quality assurance and distribution activities are performed and documented. Manages functional area(s) as designated. Assists with the creation, development, and implementation of new programs. Performs clinical pharmacist duties and responsibilities on an intermittent and as needed frequency.

Work Schedule
The expectation of this role would be mainly Monday ? Friday day shift, but the leader would be expected to be flexible on afternoons, midnights, and weekends as needed by their team and projects. This position would be included in Pharmacy Administrator on-call program.
Work Locations
This position will oversee team members on University of Michigan Health?s main hospital campus in Ann Arbor, MI in the Adult Hospitals.

Additional Information
Must comply with all Michigan Medicine Occupational Health requirements including annual flu immunization.
Background Screening
