Essential Job Duties

The undergraduate student assistant will retrieve and reshelve archival materials at the Administrative Services Annex (ASX) on Sullivan Drive, Special Collections’ primary storage facility.  This work will require frequent heavy lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. They will pack materials for transit and update records as needed in an online tool.  They may also process archival collections; this work may involve sorting papers, photographs, or other archival materials into chronological or alphabetical order, labeling folders, or keying in lists and box labels.  They will also assist in performing inventories and other collection management tasks.
